I have a feeling Rafeal Marquez vs Vic Darchinyan will be Vic's next fight

The logical opponnet other then Donaire would be probably Joseph Agabeko, but we've had our good share of "Smaller man moves into what seems like a gigantic weight class for him"

They are both under Shaw. Showtime would probably love the idea. It would probably do pretty good numbers for the purse and crowd. I think it happens personally.

I don't think this will happen. Raf is a skilled boxer wit power to match. Based on styles he's a nasty KO waitin to happen for Vic.

Rafa DESTROYS Vic. Plus, I think Rafa once told The Ring that he won't gain anything by fighting Vic.

Its certainly marketable, but I don't see Marquez moving down to 118, nevermind 115. Going up eight pounds to fight a P4P fighter ain't easy.

I know. It seems like a weight mismatch and just a mismatch in general, but I have a feeling it happens.

I think Shaw's got false confidence in Vic.

If it happens, I'm 99.9 % sure that Marquez may KTFO Vic down to his current weight.

He'd gain a paycheck, which is something he hasn't had in a long time.

How much toll has Rafa taken from his trilogy with Vasquez?
