The only thing that would convince me that Darchinyan would win a rematch...

is if Darchinyan rematched Donaire and beat him. Anything else is just talk and it doesn't seem like Shaw wants to make the rematch happen.

What I saw was that Darchinyan is still vulnerable to the left hook because of where he keeps the right hand. Arce was able to have some success with landing the left hook on Darchinyan when he would get out of position after punching. Donaire is more accurate.

Darchinyan has looked good in his recent fights but they've been against styles that aren't similar to Donaire's. Donaire is a rangy counterpuncher, I still think he'd exploit Darchinyan's wide punching arcs.

Donaire don't got it in him to walk Vic down an beat him into the ground, but he could stop him via counterpunch again. I don't think this would go the distance either way.
