I dont really take Freddie's word very much. I mean, you know the drill, as long as Andrei's paying Freddie, Freddie will say nice things.

Its not even a matter of his chin (getting ko'd with MMA gloves is, after all, much easier). Its a matter of technique and that Andrei is just too old and has too limited a boxing background to make a serious run.

Its going to be no different than Ray Sefo or any of those crossover guys. Andrei will fight a bunch of cans, jobbers, handpicked easy dudes, then right when he's convinced "Hey I can do this!" they'll throw him in with some losing end, washed up, once semi decent, former fringe contender who will knock his head off.

yeah now that KJ Noons on the other hand (also MMA fighter/boxer)

he's at least 8-1 and 26 years old.

but why Andrei, why start a pro boxing career at 30?

Why at 30 when you are a big draw in MMA making a mil+? I guess its the challenge and some ego. Props to him for that but it doesn't seem realistic.

Noons is full of it too. He's never gone beyond a 6 rounder, didnt box with the right frequency, and, of course, fought nothing but bums, yet he talks of how he's gonna' make a serious run for the title? Whatever...
