I guess we should be thankful Vitali wasn't fortunate enough to have had his fight go to the scorecards when he fought Lewis.......

P.S. This fight was anything but a clear with for Chagaev :S A draw + rematch is warranted.

        That's what I saw too...

Drumond did hardly anything. Chagaev won by landing a few good punches ineach round, but wasn't at all impressive. Neither seemed like a world-class heavyweight today.

        But Denis Boytsov looked impressive.

Those american commentators were hilarious, all I heard was, "this round is even" "I give it slightly to Drummond" They were so biased all they were talking about is how Drummond was doing, Chagaev lands a left hand, they say Drummond missed an opportunity. Hilarious.

A reminder: this was NOT a "world" heavyweight title bout, but a WBA do.
The WBA twin champs Chagaev and Valuev hardly belong among the top five heavies of today.

The best effort of tonight was done by aljosa raos. Every initiative for a round-by-round coverage shall be praised. Amen.

I just dont see how anyone who actually watched that fight can say anybody was robbed. That d could have gone either way, w/out a robbery. If anything I blame drummond for not letting his hands go when it was ovbious it was going to be stopped and it was a close fight in enemy territory.

Neither are even in the top 10. There are many better heavyweights, such as the Klitschkos, Haye, Povetkin, Arreola, Dimitrenko, etc.

This fight should not have been stopped. The doctor wasn't as concerned as the ref and it didn't look like it was affecting Chagaev all that bad. Plus this was a "title" fight.
