If found guilty and then some Marg fans were to say(which I doubt) its not true, then you have all the room to talk that its denial.

Found guilty or not, the general consensus across the spectrum of the boxing world is that he and Capetillo are cheaters and liars. Based upon the description of the "illegal substance", he is already seen as a cheater and whimp.

The CSAC has one major obstacle to overcome with this investigation should he be found guilty: The officials did not catch it, Nazeem did! This speaks loudly of the quality control that the officials have with respect to inspecting handwraps.

That said, Margarito may never be the same. His confidence level and insecurities as a respected fighter will be greatly affected. He also lost a very one-sided fight and was brutally KOed by the man that was a 4:1 underdog. Geez, talk about a bad night....

the way mosley-margarito (the fight) went down, couldn't have ended any better. i respect margarito as a hardnosed, tough-as-nails, fighter, in every sense of the word, although i root against him when he fights.....

even though i felt he was overrated, i don't want the man's career to end like this. i hope when its all said and done, the substance is found to be "old guaze" or some ****.....anything worse, then margarito's troubles are just beginning.

Margo's corner was trying to load his gloves. Plain and simple.. They got busted. That is it. Margo now is trying to say that he doesn't know what goes on when they wrap his hands? He is fool of ****!!

Nobody knows if Margo had loaded gloves when he fought Cotto. I am a big fan of Cotto, but Cotto should have gone to the body more in that fight and work his way up. He just kept moving and boxing like he was 6/10. He kept getting hit at the end of Margos punches. They need to fight again.

Cotto will win the second fight if they fight again.

I'm pretty sure that I'm smarter than you, not that being smarter than you means very much. You're not only dumb but incredibly biased, defending a man that cheated no matter what was on the wraps just because he's mexican. Can you get it throught your thick head that something that wasn't supposed to be there was found in his wraps, the fact that it had a foreign subtance on it only makes it worse.

After the Cotto fight I accepted that Marg's beat Cotto and I had no problems with that. It was a hell of a fight and Cotto gave his all in the ring. But then this **** about the wraps comes up and it's pretty obvious for everyone but Margs nuthuggers that if he tried to cheat with Mosley then he definately cheated in the Cotto fight. And I'm sure that when he is found guilty most of you will still deny that he cheated in the Cotto fight.

Does anyone here knows what happens to every glove the fighters wear after the fight? does their respective camp retain the gloves or is a property of some commission as a memorabilia?

Because plaster of paris is so brittle and it easily breaks into small fragments again if you pound it against something..or in this case someone, and its powdered residue may still remain inside the gloves padding.

It was an insert made to fit his knuckles, it goes on top of the knuckles and is covered with the wraps. So if there is any residue, it's more than likely on the wraps rather than the gloves.
