I pic PBF only because he has a more extensive career than Pac.
But I know this thread is gonna get heated once all the Pac nuthugers are aware of it.
Face it nuthugers Pac is good but he still has a long way to match PBF.

the thing is it's not about who looks better or who has more flaws then the other.. when you talk about legacy you talk about accomplishments. the argument of atg boils down to accomplishments.. so who beat/fought the better opposition.

        Mayweathers greatest wins:
        De La Hoya
        Hatton
        Corrales
        Castillo
        Chavez

        Manny Pacquiao's:
        Morales
        Barrera
        Marquez
        De La Hoya
and if he gets by him, Hatton.

Marquez, Barrera, and Morales are much better wins then Castillo, Corrales and Chavez.

not too sure but it doesn't matter how many times you defend but who you defend against.
belts don't mean ish either.. it's who you fight.

take calzaghe for example.. he defended his belt many many times.. but the people he defended against where the likes of Sakio Bika and Peter Manfredo.

Should Calzaghe get as much credit for those two defenses as someone who defended a title against stronger op?

ok but thats not answering my question.
How many times did Pacquaio Defend his titles?
In order to be a complete champion you have to defend your title.
So what are the hard facts of Pacquaio defending any of his titles in 1 division....

PLEASE dont respond unless you have that answer ready.
NO HATE.... I just want a Answer to my question.

                  That's exactly what it is!..

If Pac manages to get past Hatton..and maybe JMM again (more convincingly!)..and one more MEGA-FIGHT wit PBF himself!..he becomes top 20 ATG IMO!..

Who do you give more credit to, a fighter who had better opposition or a fighter who defended a title multiple times?

That's basically what it boils down to?

There's no debating that PAC has the better resume.

There's no debating that Ugly Boy Floyd had more title defenses.

Again, who do you give more credit to?

** I pick the fighter who fought the best, not because he defended his title against random contenders.
