Eddie will beat the breaks off Peter. Not a problem for Chambers. I think he's a good fighter. He just needs to get in shape and let his hands go more.

I think Sam will have trouble getting past Chambers defense, while Eddie will land a lot of counterpunches.

LOL @ people picking Eddie Chambers to win. Peter is gonna destroy dude. That turtle shell crap wont work against a monster like Peter. Chambers cant crack an egg and tires after 6 rounds. Plus he's pudgy in the belly, Peter is gonna tenderize that fat belly

Chamber also doesnt throw a lot. Peter will win on activity alone. Plus when Eddie feels that power he will even throw less

But if Peters improves his skill and cuts down in weight (a lot of weight) then I can imagine Peter winning.
30 pounds? Hell no. He's a big boy. Maybe 10 or 15 max but that's really it otherwise he's going to sacrifice power and energy.
I think he should be in shape and the weight doesn't really matter all that much if he's physically strong.

He'd probably look skinny at 225. He's a naturally big dude.

It's a lot to ask a guy who has been fighting as long as he has to simply improve his skill. It's not conceivable IMO that he can accomplish that in less than two months. I think he is just going to be the fighter that he is for the rest of his career.

Though I agree, he does need to be much lighter. I don't know if it's because of weight-lifting or what but he was way too big against Klitschko.

Good Heavyweight clash, especailly for ESPN. Chambers will try to use his speed and work off his jab, as Peter will try to get back to old form and should go looking for the KO.

As both fighters look to put their name back into the title picture.

I typically don't like to "write off" fighters so soon but I don't think Sam Peter will never reach the pinnacle of the heavyweight division or even be one of the top 5 guys ever again...

I saw something that I thought was very interesting before the Vitali Klitschko fight. Someone posted a video of Peter's training camp and one thing stuck out- Peter's lack of intensity while training. He looked like he was just going threw the motions and seemed to have lost "the hunger" that boxing purists often mention...

"Fast Eddie" is much quicker and better skilled than Sam, though...

But it difficult to say for whether Eddie's skills or Sam's power will win the fight, but that's why it's an interesting matchup.
