Its sad that people are even attacking Mexican boxers. Most Mexican fighters are not being heralded as the next big thing as they transition out of the amateurs. These guys are truly rags-to-riches stories. I'm not saying that all of Mexico is a dump... but fighting is a way to survive. The fight is in their blood and if you don't find it easy to root for Mexican fighters, something is seriously wrong with your brain.

seriously i see good mexican boxing fans around here like 2501 who can have good discussions with pinoys and other race and other fighters but this dude xcaret makes it bad.

Its sad that people are even attacking Mexican boxers. Most Mexican fighters are not being heralded as the next big thing as they transition out of the amateurs. These guys are truly rags-to-riches stories. I'm not saying that all of Mexico is a dump... but fighting is a way to survive. The fight is in their blood and if you don't find it easy to root for Mexican fighters, something is seriously wrong with your brain.

Its easy to root for Mexican fighters, and I root for Mexicans all the time... It is the same for fighters of any country.. Most fighters don't come with a silver spoon up their asses.. Being pinoy, I can say that the brunt of the attacks, many racial in nature, have stemmed from certain Mexicans individuals on this board.. The misguided pride gets to the point that credit is not given where it is due. Trying to take anything away from a culture by racially attacking a culture because they can't deal with the reality handed to them by a fighter of a certain nationality or race other than Mexican.. I'm not just gonna sit here and have someone insult my pride as a person. I've tried to ignore it, but it is so blatant... Karma is a ***** and these fighters who have come up staked their claim and made millions aren't free from detractors especially if your own pride has been attacked by the same dudes who rooted for them weeks earlier are the same dudes talking smack about a fighter because their race is better than yours.

Its a general lack of intelligence the world over. I wish ***** would give everyone a $2000 credit to travel outside the U.S. to visit one foreign country. Once you step outside of what you've always known, designations of Mexican, Pinoy, Black, White, European, American.... don't matter anymore. And you're right, unless you get picked up by a major promoter directly out of the amateurs, or go to the olympics... you do come into the sport with nothing to show for yourself. Fighters from the Phillipines especially. Some of the these guys attended grade school barefoot.

If u hate mexican fighters or a certain fighter because of 1 fan ur a idiot. With that said i really don't mind the guy. But if u do don't get all angry man it's just one person. I'm mexican and tend to root for mexican's but as u can see in my list i love all types of fighters. But why do people hate mexican fighters? No there not born with natural ability but it's not there fault they fight harder then any other nationality u can't deny that.. Viva mexico
