Only a dumb ass thinks that Cotto is afraid of anybody!!!!!!!!!!!!
    what does Viva mean?

Im just asking cuz he retreated most of the fight (although he threw good combos), couldnt seem to hurt Margarito then took knees. It's a logical question, i thought.

It's not like his 'game plan' won him the fight.. SSM showed some grit and look where it got him. Wasnt afraid to bring the fight to the big guy.. He planted his feet and broke Margo's body. Cotto threw his combo's and jetted. It was like a bad FMJ impersonation. Only someone like Floyd could pull that strategy off. Also, why did he take knees twice in fear? He retreated to the furthest part of the ring seeking shelter putting his arms up in a defensive " no, please stop " manner. I don't know.

Just don't see the second fight being any different. I think he fears Antonio.
i honestly think Cotto thought he could KO Marg when he landed some flush shots, and the fact that he DID land bombs on him and Marg didnt move might have thrown him off his game and shook him up....but thats just my opinion

let's be realistic here, Cotto threw everything including the kitchen sink at Margarito and he kept on coming. Cotto did not hurt him at all, that does something to a man mentally. I mean everyone saw the shots he hit him with, the ...k does plaster have to do with Margarito walking through his shots. I am no Margarito fan but I like his relentless pressure style. I am one who believed that after the Cotto win, he got careless and became too heavy. He probably dehydrated himself to keep the fight with Shane. Remember at one point he did not want the fight. I honestly believe after the Feb 10 ruling Marg will go back to his hungry self and punish Cotto if they fight in June.

Plaster. The fact that Miguel did not look like himself is quite telling. He has fought bigger punchers incl. Mosley and did not look the way he did against the plaster.

You mean after he's banned? It's all good, he can fight in the prison boxing leagues.

No, men he brike out phiscally. His body didnt responded, so he took the knees to see if he could recuperate, but he couldnt.

Cotto doesn't fear anybody. He was beaten up in the first fight but he landed a lot of hard shots, I'm sure he will regain any confidence he may have lost in that fight soon, and after watching what Mosley did I'm pretty sure he thinks he can make some adjustments and win the fight. What would happen in a second fight is still a question mark though.

I hear you.. But if Margarito had plaster it HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH COTTO's CONFIDENCE in the ring, and being confident in a fight makes the difference in 12 grueling rounds. Are you kidding?... You get hit by bricks you'd prolly switch to defensive mode real quick, get worn out faster by punches, and plus Cotto got worn out by accumulation...How can you trade with someone who has bricks in their gloves... Mosely loaded up on his punches cuz it seemed the risks of getting tagged by Margarito didn't seem too great... If Marg did have bricks and all of a sudden fought without it, It would make a difference between backin up and standing your ground, loading up or keepin defensive, it is harder to counter a brick. You can't be serious. I think Cotto wins a rematch cuz I do believe Margarito had plaster in his gloves againts him.
