If a past his prime 43 year old lost a SD to Calzaghe, A rprime Hopkins would UD calzaghe or stop him late

I forgot about Fernando Vargas i think at 154 he would give Floyd Mayweather Jr, some big problems because he's much physically bigger. And remember he was able to land on Winky Wright who is a defensive master himself. More so than i've ever seen an opponent land on Winky Wright especially to the body.

But your other comment isn't correct yes it was a SD but Floyd Mayweather Jr clearly won by about 4 or 3 rounds, the other judge was a biased moron who didn't watch the fight properly.

Hell no. An old Oscar arguably beat him the first half of the fight when his jab was working. Prime Forrest's jab would've given him fits, and prime Winky? No way. Cotto is by no means a gimme either.

Could he have? Besides Winky, possibly. Would he have? Not on your life.

I don't think he would. Those are some tough fighters to face.

I don't think so either. I think he'll lose to Forrest and I don't possibly see him beating Winky.

I doubt it.....I think Forrest might have given him problems, Prime DLH probably beats Floyd and certainly Winky beats Floyd. But thats just my opinions.....

he did clearly win but Oscar did win about 4-5 rounds in that fight.

Floyd's lack of size would comeback to bite him against Shane's competition.
There is a reason the 147 portion of Floyd's resume is the weakest part.
