Rubio is a serious dude. Tough customer. I wouldn't even be that shocked if Pavlik hits the canvas once en route to a lobsided decision or stoppage of Rubio.

Pavlik's a good fighter. He is a bit one dimentional, but he has the power and boxing basics to make up for his lack of skill. I expect a late stoppage and then a fight with either Kessler, or the winner of Froch - Taylor. There is not really a lot of options for him at the moment.

Rubio is a tough guy, but there is nothing to suggest he makes it the distance with Kelly, or makes a particularly competitive.

make no mistake about it, Kelly is knocking this guy out. Rubio is tough, but he has been knocked out by less skilled, less powerful individuals than KP. I say mid-rounds, somewhere between the 6th and 9th. It's a good comeback fight for him after that depressing loss, which I still wonder if Kelly was 100% for, either due to illness or just bad prep work for the jump up in weight. Hopefully after this he and Abraham can hook up so Pavlik can prove once and for all he is indeed the man at 160.

You do realize your discrediting Joe with that comment as well? That is his best win to date. Besides, at least the Youngstown fans are still loyal to him after his loss. If Calzaghe did ever lose, Boxing Scenes population would drop in half and 90% of Joe's fans like yourself would vanish.
