What a lot of you guys dont know is that Gomez was actually ill and in hospital prior to the Cotto fight and he decided to go ahead with the fight, even though he was not 100% fit. This is not a made up story or a rumour its a fact, because Gomez made some web episodes prior to the Cotto fight, and it shows him having trouble in sparring and nearly throwing up, then he ends up in hospital gutted that he might have to withdraw from the fight etc.

id watch for the simple reason it would be a pure obliteration hatton would take him apart hes beaten a lot better and id just like to see how long gomez could slug it out for my guess is not long at all but hey hes got balls if thats what he wants to do i wouldnt like to have a war with hatton i dunno about the rest of you lolComment

I don't want to see it to be honest, there are plenty of better fights out there for Hatton... and I definitely wouldn't pay £15 PPV to see him fight Alfonzo Gomez. I respect Gomez for his career, and progress in 'The Contender' and all but Hatton beats Gomez... end of story.Comment
