Eduoard says he will fight Angulo very soon...

Daniel Edouard says that he was offered a fight with Alfredo Angulo on Feb. 14 to fill in for Mayorga, but that he turned it down because he didn't have enough time to get down in weight. Ordinarily he's a 160 lb fighter. But he said that he'd fight Angulo very soon.

I'm wondering if this means Angulo is off the 2/14 card and possibly going to be added to the 3/14 card since right now it appears that Dawson-Tarver 2 has no co-feature. Gary Shaw promotes Dawson, Angulo and Tarver. It'd make sense.

Could be a big explosive night I hope they don't. I haven't heard or seen this Edouard fighter fight is he any good?

Edouard hasn't been on tv in awhile. He lost to Jermain Taylor the fight before Taylor fought Hopkins. He also lost to Eromosele Albert the only other time he tried to come down to 154. He was the first to beat Willie Gibbs. I think Edouard is decent at 160. I'd put him maybe a notch below Marco Antonio Rubio. At 154, I'm not sure he really is effective that low in weight. He'd probably be better off working his way through the ranks at that weight.

Edouard is no world-beater but he's a tough little guy who doesn't do anything spectacularly but works hard. He is pretty durable, his fight with Willie Gibbs was a war. He came back from almost being done in the first to stopping Gibbs in the fourth.

I haven't seen the Albert fight so I don't know what to make of it but he has a very big frame and used to fight at much higher weights in the amateurs.

I seen Eduoard have one really good fight wit Gibbs, then get KTFO by Taylor. He don't do much for me, but I guess it's a decent fight.
