Sorry, I don't tolerate dubious goings on in boxing, and ripping fighters off, just with, oh he's gangsta you gotta know what to expect. No disrespect larry, I just don't think that's acceptable.

Don King is a complex mother****er but to us boxing fans hes a ****. He rips off to many fighters. Like right now he should just give Mayorga the money he deserves and be done with it.

He's put together some of the greatest fights/events ever in the sport, but he's still a scumbag.

Although he put together some amazing PPV cards in the 90s, and some good ones this decade, he also prevents some fights from happening as well.

Where I do feel compelled to defend this ****bag, however, is when people (more casual fans, but some newbie "hardcore" fans) act like he's responsible for killing boxing or ruining the sport. That's a bunch of nonsense.

Like boxing was all honorable with upstanding citizens of character before King came along.

He did some shady things but it is the fight game so you can't really say **** to the guy. I bet he is a cool dude and he seems like the type of old school cat who will do some rails with you and have a crazy night chasin women.
