How much better for fans if "fighters" fought all comers

This is why I LOVE that Floyd has retired. The girlie mindset was cheapening this sport. If every fighter had a real fighters heart, we'd see all the fights we want to see and none of this "He needs to build his fanbase" "He needs to prove himself with XYZ fighter" "Who is Cotto?" "Margarito??? I don't know who he is."

This childish BS has NO place in boxing. If you think it does, You are not a real fan of the game and most likely you were raised on fake ass WWF Hulk Hogan BS where talk excites you more than real fights.

    Seriously.

If everybody fought all comers they would surely have losses on their records. No matter who you are, somebody out there will probably beat you.

IMO anybody with an '0' have obviously ducked people.

Exactly. Somebody always has your # when you least expect it.

Floyd has his 0 safe and sound under his bed and he touches it gently every night before bed.

        THe image is hilarious.

I could understand Cotto, but seriously no one knew who the hell Margarito was. And plenty still don't.

i understand the need to fight the best all the time but remember this is PROFESSIONAL boxing. this is the fighters livelyhood. boxers do not have long careers (although more and more nowadays their careers are becoming longer). alot of boxers come from poor backgrounds. although love for the sport and legacy is extremely important to them so is money. like it or not you have to make as much money in this sport as you can, as quick as possible because you honestly dont know how long you will be fighting for. you could have an injurie or accident at anytime that could end your career. and unlike other professions boxers dont receive a pension scheme. i think this gets overlooked alot by fans.
