If JMM remains on top at LW, a 3rd fight is great too. If he can't make 135 anymore tho, nothin left for him at 140 after Hatton.
    Co sign to both!!!!!!!!!!

this is where I'm on Manny and Floyd's side. they have fought since their teens. 15+ years. How many people can say they had a career since 15 until their 30's.

they made millions and can retire happy.

There are some disappointed fans (and fighters) who has lost PBF's respect who believes he can accomplish a lot more and dominate the WW division. Pac has said in the past that 2009 is his last year fighting to pursue politics. So how many will hate him for leaving so early? Or how many will give him props leaving while his brain cells are relatively intact?
I would be disappointed, but with all the drama between arum, floyd, haymon, etc... I wouldn't be surprized if the fight didn't come off.

Well the last time a great fighter retired in his prime it was floyd, he left a lot of big fights out there though & his opposition was questionable since he moved up to 140. pac has consistently fought the best & overall his body of work since floyd went up to 140 has been signifigantly better. this retirement would be more warranted. 1 more fight vs. a floyd or a cotto/mosley is good enough. I'd like to see him fight on, but respect him regardless.

                  pacman

pacman is retiring because of politics, election in ph is in the early months of 2010 so its understandable that he will retire at the end of the year so he can concentrate in campaigning to be a congressman.

pacman wants to serve the country more than being in boxing and even if he will sacrifice his blooming boxing career,he will do it because country>boxing and i am pretty sure that if he wins, he will stay retired for good not like mayweather
