It's really a shame the two never fought. Can you imagine the amount of **** talking going down leading up to that fight? It would have been classic. Mayorga vs. Vargas style.

If he stayed at heavyweight and bernard stayed at light heavy he still wouldnt be able to ko bernard. He wouldnt even win the fight for that matter

The fight almost happened at 190lbs, it was sealed signed and delivered a few years ago, but Hopkins backed out making some excuse about Don King, and money.

All James has to do is get down to 200. He can sweat off 15lbs for the weigh in, and then send Hopkins to school.

If the fight were to happen people wouldn't give Hopkins credit. They would say that Toney had to dry himsel out and so he wasn't at his best etc.. Just like they said when hopkins beat tarver.

If Toney did that and lost he would just make excuses again the same as he did after the Jones fight.

                I predict death...
Toney would die trying to lose that weight. No chance!

I'm a Toney and Hopkins fan but I don't think James can get down to 200 man and if he did, he would be drained as fuck!!

Here's an idea for Toney, instead of going down to 185 or whatever it is, why doesn't he just get himself in good heavyweight shape??
