    Berto/Collazo- What happened??

Never saw the fight but read on another site that collazo was robbed, Boxingscene didnt seem to cover this fight because of the Molsey/Margarito drama.

So am asking for people's opinion on here who saw the fight..what really happen, Who actually won or whats your scorecard like.

There has been talk of a rematch as well, does it warrant a rematch etc

I had it 114-113 Collazo, 6-6 in rounds but Berto had a point deducted for holding which cost him the fight for me, it wasn't a robbery although the 116-111 score was ridiculous, no way Berto won 9 rounds of that fight. Great fight, an early contender for FOTY, I'd recommend watching it.

And yes, I would like to see a rematch, it was a very entertaining fight and it could have gone either way, Collazo deserves a rematch and I think fans would like to see one.

        1 Even
        2 Berto
        3 Collazo
        4 Collazo 10-8
        5 Berto
        6 Berto
        7 Berto
        8 Berto
        9 Collazo
        10 Collazo
        11 Berto
        12 Berto

        115-113 Andre Berto.

Harold Lederman is a moron how the hell did he give Luis Collazo the 7th round ? all Luis Collazo did in that round was drop his hands and do nothing, terrible scoring from Harold Lederman.

Luis Collazo gave away too many of the middle rounds and Andre Berto finished too strong in the fight, for Luis Collazo to get the nod IMO.

Thanks, I was away on holiday for 2 weeks.. Never got to see either Mosley/Margarito or Berto/collazo but saw the mosley fight last week and read about all the drama involve in it.

For some reason this fight wasnt really talked about on here until i read about it from another website about how collazo was robbed.

I would try and download it later on today..thanks for your help.

Collazo was not robbed he lost the fight legitimately and that was with Berto having to make up for a point deduction. Berto landed the cleaner harder more accurate shots throughout.

This post tells the story of the fight exactly how i saw it too. A lot of people think Collazo won the first round, because he rocked Collazo, but people forget besides that Berto carried most of that round at the begining and the end not saying he won the round, but id go with Burning Desire and call it a draw, because that shot Collazo landed was virtually all he done in the round.
