            from what I can tell based on USA and British boxing media is that in America, a fighter is a nobody until they become a champion. In the UK, a fighter is treated like the second coming though unproven in the championship level (example Amir Khan, a prospect at best, is a PPV draw in the UK).

            I'm not saying the UK is wrong or America is right. it is just an observation
