The official Bernard "The Excecutioner" Hopkins appreciation thread.

We have seen a lot of fighters praised and given grandiose titles such as warrior, full of heart, and simply a great fighter. When these titles are considered, one fighter that ltruly deserves to be alloted these titles is no other than Bernard Hopkins. To him fighting is not only a way of life, it is his life. On top of that when has Bernard ever avoided or ducked a fighter. he could have pursued numerous "dream fights" at catch weights, but rather decided to protect his undisputed crown and cement his name in boxing history. He has never ducked any challenges even the ones no one would have blamed him for based on his advanced age. He was 40 when he fought and in my opinon beat Taylor, and 42 when he gave Calzaghe the toughest fight of his career and 43 when he dominated Kell Pavil (a man most thought would stop him). This man is a true legend and deserves his props.

Hopkins is the man. One of the best fighters of all time, not just our time but of all time. Defensive wizard these days, but in Hopkins' prime he used to straight up beat the **** out of people, was great to watch.

Thats whats great about him. Back in the days he was a world class brawler with skills. This man is a wizard he unlike most fighters really doesn't have one style, he changes his game for every opponent and sometimes mid fight.

cosign. you can actually tell in each fight when he has "spotted something" in his opponents arsenal that he's about to exploit.

hopkins and fmj are hands down the best boxers i've watched.

I will just pretend the Taylor and Winky Wright fights didn't happen, and I will agree.

For the most part, he's been excellent.
