There's a loads of threads polling who the best of all time, but many of these boxers fought before fights were regularly recorded. I'm not saying they weren't good, but I don't want to pass judgement on fighters that I've never watched. So I was wondering what people thought the Top 25 ATG list would be if 1960 was the starting date.

So this would be from 1959 and up. Even though your asking for 25 boxers...it isn't an easy list to make. There's a loads of threads polling who the best of all time, but many of these boxers fought before fights were regularly recorded. Ofcourse I'd throw in the obvious.
Duran
Hagler
Hearns
SRL
Aaron Pryor
Whitaker
Mayweather
B-Hop
Pacman
JCC
Alexis Arguello
RJJ
Who'd I miss?
I hear this guy is nice Alexis Arguello but I've yet to see any of his fights but since some say he is the best 130 pounder I'll throw him in.Last edited by El Dominicano; 02-04-2009, 06:44 PM.Comment

I would begin by adding Muhammad Ali, and if you have Hopkins, might as well have Toney.Comment

Carlos Monzon
Jose Napoles
Emile Griffith
Michael Spinks
Duilio Loi
Lennox Lewis
EDIT: it was too good of a question to wait, so this is a quick appendixComment
