Top 25 Boxers of the Last 50 Years

There's a loads of threads polling who the best of all time, but many of these boxers fought before fights were regularly recorded. I'm not saying they weren't good, but I don't want to pass judgement on fighters that I've never watched. So I was wondering what people thought the Top 25 ATG list would be if 1960 was the starting date.

To actually put together a reasonably well thought out list would be such a massive undertaking. There are just so many great fighters to consider.

So this would be from 1959 and up. Even though your asking for 25 boxers...it isn't an easy list to make.

Ofcourse I'd throw in the obvious.

      Duran
      Hagler
      Hearns
      SRL
      Aaron Pryor
      Whitaker
      Mayweather
      B-Hop
      Pacman
      JCC
      Alexis Arguello
      RJJ

      Who'd I miss?

I hear this guy is nice Alexis Arguello but I've yet to see any of his fights but since some say he is the best 130 pounder I'll throw him in.

This looks like the last 30 years...

I would begin by adding Muhammad Ali, and if you have Hopkins, might as well have Toney.

Maybe Salvador Sanchez? Not sure, not sure about Hearns belonging in there either.

Later tonight I will start cranking my brain about 60s and 70s fighters.

A few candidates to make it in the list (mostly from outside US)

                Eder Jofre
                Carlos Monzon
                Jose Napoles
                Emile Griffith
                Michael Spinks
                Duilio Loi
                Lennox Lewis

EDIT: it was too good of a question to wait, so this is a quick appendix

Yeah I was wondering who would mention Muhammad Ali!

I'm not sure about order, but I was thinking:

                  Ali,
                  Foreman,
                  Monzon,
                  Leonard,
                  Hagler,
                  Duran,
                  Hearns,
                  Benitez,
                  Pryor,
                  Arguello,
                  Holmes,
                  Khaosai Galaxy,
                  Roy Jones Jr,
                  Whitaker,
                  Chavez,
                  Hopkins,
                  Holyfield,
                  Lewis,
                  Meldrick Taylor (maybe)

                  so far

I was trying to go by greatness at first but drew a blank after 3 so this list is in no particular order. And other than Ali, Liston and Frazier its really from 1979-2009

                    1. Muhammad Ali
                    2. Roberto Duran
                    3. Sugar Ray leonard
                    4. Marvin Hagler
                    5. Mike Tyson
                    6. Floyd mayweather
                    7. Joe Calzaghe
                    8. Roy Jones Jr
                    9. Felix Trinidad
                    10. Bernard Hopkins
                    11. Pernell Whitaker
                    12. Sonny Liston
                    13. George Foreman
                    14. Joe Frazier
                    15. Lennox Lewis
                    16. Juan Manuel Marquez
                    17. Manny Paquiao
                    18. Larry Holmes
                    19. Evander Holyfield
                    20. Ricardo Lopez
                    21. Naseem Hamed
                    22. Marco Antonio Barerra
                    23. Thomas Hearns
                    24. Oscar De Lahoya(based on ppv & business savy)
