cus there was nothing great to be done there. at 147 he beat what will arguably be the #2 or #1 p4p fighter on the planet in a few months by knock out (hatton) and he beat a atg/hof at 154 in his own league

UNTIL THEN EVERYBODY SHUT THE **** UP ABOUT THE CASTILLO FIGHT IT WAS 9 YEARS AGO......FLOYD HAD A CLOSE FIGHT THE FIRST TIME THEN GAVE HIM A REMATCH IN HIS NEXT FIGHT AND BEAT HIM MORE CLEARLY....LET THE FIGHT GO...CASTILLO HAS.
I give him props for rematching and beating Castillo.. but that doesnt change the fact that MOST observers feel he lost the first fight to him. Why bring up the rematch its irrelevant, doesnt take away his performance in the first fight.. what if they fought a third time, maybe Castillo wins..who knows. Good for Floyd he rematch him and won clearly I thought.. I thought he lost the first...

good for you but view the first fight in its proper context...floyd was outweighed by over 10 lbs, floyd was MOVING UP in his first challenge at 135lbs from 130 and facing THE CHAMPION, he was heavily the underdog AND WAS INJURED and had to fight basically one handed and outweighed by over 10 lbs and still wooped castillo's ass.

          /class dismissed

Are you kidding? you have got to be JOKING, SIR..... mITCHELL and Judah were coming off losses within the year and no significant wins before facing Floyd. Hatton was back at 140 cuz he said he cant hack 147.... Baldo was a one hit wonder... I dont belive you just typed that.

first of all sharmba mitchell was coming off a win and his only significant loss prior to that was kostya tzsyu who was considered unstoppable at the time, this was floyd's first fight moving UP TO HIS 4TH ****IN DIVISION and thus the fight was considered a great threat. he dispatched mitchell and destroyed him with a body shot. CASE CLOSED.
