Is Pac's win over DLH overrated?

Considering Roach's prior knowledge of Oscar.
And Oscar's age compared to Pac's age? (36 and 30)
    Hm?

    Well, what do you think?

But before you answer that, what were you thinking before the fight?

before the fight i was giving the edge to Pac based on age and speed.

and after the fight... after considering "the roach factor", i'm definitely calling overrated on that victory.

      your turn.

It is. I've said before that it is overrated because no one gave any thought to the fight. They saw Oscar was big and assumed he would brutally KO a midget, and left it at that. No one bothered to analyze Oscar's last performances and think about factors such as his declining skills, age, and weight drain.

I didn't expect anything else than a Manny stoppage, but because no one thought this was possible, they think it was the performance of a lifetime.

NO, most people thought Oscar was going to over power the smaller guy.

It's fine to say that after it's happened, but hardly anyone gave Pac a chance beforehand.

hell no... we all know the age, weight, of dlh can be a factor in the fight. still he was the massive favorite. dig up the threads prior to the fight. you'll know how much of an upset it is

Yeah I'd have to say it is. Great performance by Pac no doubt, but Oscar was a shell of himself, whether it be because of being weight drained, old over night or all those tough fights catching up to him

It's easy to say "Oh but everyone predicted Oscar would murder Pac" (I didn't for the record, I made a lot of points and some money from betting on Pacman)... But the fight itself speaks volumes. Moreso than the pre-fight odds and polls.

Retrospectively, it's a good win due to Pac's very sharp performance and DLH's name-power/past credentials, but it's not as great as some people are making out due to Oscar being completely gone
