Althought Pac has been fighting in lower weight-classes all his career, I truely feel his best weights to fight at are 135-140. His speed stays, if not more, while his power looks like it improved. I think the lower weight-classes he drained himself just a tad bit, cause 135-142 he's look incredible so far.

The one thing that your forgetting is that Manny Pacquiao is not a defensive technician like PBF and is often on the offensive & goes in like a cowboy guns slinging & has been hit flush in a lot of his fights. Pacquiao will be advise to box Hatton from the outside but Hatton is fast has a pretty good solid jab & should be advised to use it more by Floyd Sr & likes to bring the fight to his opponent. Plus Ricky is a strong inside fighter as well. I do not see this fight a one sided massacre like everyone is saying. Do I think Pacquaio has a chance? Sure I do but Hatton has a chance too & will be on his best especially since at 140 he has proved to be a hard man to beat & Pacquiao is visiting. I just see the fight more competitive than the majority of people.

I agree with you with Hatton's chances, but I also believe he's on a decline while Pacquiao's on the incline. I can't help but think Hatton's going to get F^@3ed up at the 2nd ring post, get cut a little, kiss the 3rd ring post from a check left hook, get cut some more, head butt the 4th ring post from a check right hook, get stopped on bloody cuts, and blame the referee for all of it. No doubt, it'll be competitive while it lasts.

When Fight Night comes, it's not the Coaches who wil decide the outcome match but the Fighter's themselves. Pac has an edge againts Ricky for having more competitive fights againts more credible champion calibur opponents than Ricky. Hatton maybe a "Dangerous Opponent" but he has nothing new to bring to the table that Pac haven't encountered before in his career as a Boxer. Pac will win this!!!

Your right, Manny did encounter a fighter similar Ricky Hatton before. On 9/17/99 he met up with an unknown fighter named Medgoen Singsurat @ 112lbs. and was KO'd with a body shot. No big deal though since Medgoen is now sitting with a record of 60-5.

Ricky is a sturdy 140 however, and I would say he has a better chance than you percieve. Respectfully.

Hatton's a very good fighter but I believe that this fight is a mismatch in Pacman's favor. He's far more technically sound than is hatton, hits harder, and is much faster. I think it will be competitive for the first 2 or 3 rounds at which point Manny will begin to outclass Hatton.
