"Other than that, I don't like him."

Strange guy, strange fighter but it should be a great fight. I think Vic should win, most likely via close UD. Maybe two, three points all 'round. Hopefully it's a fun fight though and doesn't turn into a fizzer. Lots of people have been looking forward to this for a long time, me being one of them.

I do think that people are underrating Arce though. After his Mijares loss, he's been building back up to a huge fight and, while he hasn't looked great, I think that's as much due to not having a big opponent. For a guy like Arce who has fought the biggest names and had a long career it's all about the big names now and having to fight back up through nobodies or has-beens very obviously makes it a struggle for him to get up. Nonetheless, he won all his last fights and now has the big fight he's been after for a long time again.

Darchinyan has only lost one time in 33 fights, a one-punch knockout loss at the hands of the 'Filipino Flash' Nonito Donaire, but Vic explains that loss was because of, "A mistake that I made in not being focused, not anything that he did to me."

But that's what Donaire did, he made you lose your focus 'coz he's been connecting you with jabs and counter punches.

Instead of acknowledging your conquerors hard work and skill you make this lame excuse instead.

You got KO'd clean and clear! Donaire timed your punch... only proves he's quicker than you. You left yourself open and then boom... you can't even stand straight.

If you want respect from other fighters, give some respect of your own. You said that you train hard and that is what made you who you are. So if ever you beat Arce would you be pleased to hear Arce say "It's the mistake that I made sucking a lollipop as I walk to the ring, It made my sugar level high, It's not Darchinyan really, I got beat by a lollipop!"

C'mon, You're already a great fighter Vic, a defeat doesn't make you a lesser champion that you are. What really made you a more exciting fighter is how you came back from your loss from Donaire and become a world champion again so quickly.

I'll be rooting for Arce in this one, but my head tells me that Vic is just on a tear right now and might even end this one early.

As far as his loss to Nonito...

That wasn't a one punch knockout loss, IMO. It was a demolition. He was being thoroughly dominated throughout the course of the fight, and then ate a picture perfect hook to end it.

Vic by KO somewhere between rounds 5-9. I hope Vic punishes him over a long period of time before taking him out as he says he will.

I'm pretty sure that big left he landed on your chin had something to do with it, Vic.
