    Wud b a great fight but i cud b wrong but im nearly 100% sure floyd wanted to fight cotto back in his 140 days but arum said no, thinkin cotto was to green at the time..

    Still think mayweather is two clever for cotto and wins a close ud..

              It would mean much more now at 147 than it ever did at 140, Mayweather would've beaten him at 140 and I think he'd beat Cotto at 147 as well but it would be a much more competitive fight now.

                Mayweather is way too elusive for Cotto. I would put my money on Mayweather by decision at 140 and at 147.

                  Mostly at 147, since there wasn't big demand at 140 like there was at WW. But PBF wins at either.

                    Apparently, Mayweather asked Arum to make a fight with Cotto in late 2005, right after he had beaten Gatti (and Cotto had beaten Branco), both guys were at 140, but Arum said no. I can't blame Arum.

                    The fight would've been best though, at 147, in the spring of 2008 following Mayweather's win over Hatton and Cotto's win over Mosley.
