of course 4 out of 4 would be a bit more of an achievement i guess.
    bro

at the time of Elorde there's only one belt to be won.

Undisputed means 4 out 4 or 3 out 3. If there's another champion in your division you're not undisputed. because that fighter can dispute it keyword

    Undisputed is Hopkins @ Middleweight
Tyson after beating Tucker and Smith.

not quite... majority of the belts means undisputed in my book...

in VIC's case, Montiel the WBO holder doesn't even wanna fight him, so no dispute

again... no it doesn't... Undisputed means majority of belts

VIC has 3/4 and all the writers/magazines/experts refer to him as the undisputed champ at super fly.

it can be argued though I guess.

              HERE.. JUST OUT ON FNEWS

They were in the same room and the same ring, but three-time world champion Jorge “Travieso” Arce and undisputed super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan did not engage in conversation as they took questions from young amateurs boxers today at the PAL Boxing Club in downtown Anaheim. Arce and Darchinyan will meet on Saturday night at the Honda Center in a long awaited battle between two of the most fierce and highly popular boxers in the lower weight classes.

                wrong.

undisputed champion means no one can dispute the title.

if a fighter is wbc , wba and ibf champion but the wbo has it's own champion then that means the wbo is "dis*****g" his title.

a guy can even have all 4 major org belts but if he's not the ring/lineal champion then he's still not undisputed.

a guy can only be called undisputed with 3 belts if it was a few years back before the wbo became considered a major org.

hence why guys who had 3 belts , the wbc , wba and ibf , were called undisputed.

like i said.. its somethin that can be argued...

but if you are 100% right... then that means 99% of the boxing experts and writers are WRONG in alllll their articles and interviews since VIC beat Mijares.

You will even see this Sat. on SHOWTIME Vic being introduced by Jimmy Lennon Jr. as Undisputed World Champ.
