TBH I'm surprised at how much he capitulated to Calzaghe.

I mean, I knew the guy was shot to pieces but that final round... I thought he'd at least TRY and win, or at least LOOK like he was trying.

I'm white, and this is a disgraceful thread... just trying to manipulate somebodies color, it doesn't matter if he is black... does it? So why do you have to refer to slavery when a African American fighter gets outclassed.

He did try... he was just really, really shot... and shown he has nothing left in the tank, like he said... "He was the better man tonight" he was, at least he is being humble in defeat. 7 years ago... the fight could have been different, but it has seemed like Jones as aged in dog years... and had nothing left since Tarver in 2004.

Race has NOTHING to do with it... end of story.
