A Manny Pacquiao Day?! Well I've seen him play hoops, now I wanna see him pitch!
What a busy man he is right now. He's really serious on taking up law, means that he's really serious on running for public office. -
Whenever Manny is in the ring people will understand him a lot easier because they are just using the language of boxing. Now, if you add politics to boxing you will make it very compounded because politics is a game spoken in different languages but equates to one thing, DISSAPOINTMENT.Comment

Don't get ahead of yourself Ronnie. The Giants website makes no mention of it yet. Looks like the date is a Tuesday night against the San Diego Padres. That would be a good time for a MP day since there are a lot of Peeps in San Diego as well who might make the trip north to see the game. One thing potentially weird is that typically there aren't alot of giveaway promotions for Tuesday night games. Bobblehead days are usually for the weekends because that's when kids are more likely to attend a game (i.e. not a school night). Still, I suppose its possible if the right sponsor can be found. Baseball teams usually have a corporate sponsor for givaways to help defer product costs. Not sure what corporate sponsor might be interested in a Manny Pac Day, but Cashe Creek Casino is known to sponsor giveaways at Oakland Athletics games. And damn Filipinos sure love to gamble!!
Oh, I can say that since I'm married to one
Now, if this game does happen, I'll get my father-in-law tickets because he's a big Giants/MP fan.Last edited by IMustBreakU; 02-03-2009, 04:05 PM.Comment

Hahaha! Ronnie doesn't have anything else to write that really has relevance to boxing.
He should have just wrote "Arum said Pacquiao would also visit Manchester City" PERIOD! He doesn't even have to include; "The Hometown of Hatton" after that.
Anyone here who doesn't know Ricky Hatton's hometown? anybody?Comment
