I think I could have fought tooth and nail with him that night.
That was a humiliating performance from Woods. Utter ****e.Comment

I know Hopkins was at the top...
im comparing
Joe fought Hopkins and Jones...
Hopkins was understandable, jones wasnt.
Dawson fought Tarver and Johnson..
both were understandable... besides hopkins, they were the two top fightersComment

What one or another person picks is irrelevant. I didn't give Hopkins much of a shot because of his age, lack of activity and lack of offensive dexterity. On the other hand, I had delusions of grandeur where Jones could turn back the clock.
That doesn't change the general consensus.Last edited by IMDAZED; 02-03-2009, 02:56 PM.Comment

yeah right LOL.... go find that post... id like to see it for myself...
I SAID, countless times.. if roy has something left, i think he could be joe... well he didnt have anything left, and he lost...
ON TOP OF THAT... even IF I DID, think Roy was going to beat Joe... how the hell does that make Roy still relevant to fight?
Because "I" thought he could win?

No.
I think there were 10 million reasons to fight Jones. And, rightly or wrongly - Calzaghe thinks his legacy is secure, and so do the majority of the British boxing fans.Comment
