hes a bit of an idiot and a goofball, but mostly I just think its funny. As far as I know hes not doing any major drugs or gets into illegal stuff a lot, so he could be much worse.

I dont take him too seriously, and overall that little persona of his adds to the buildup of fights as long as I dont pay too much attention to it.

Whoever Floyd is away from the hype and the circus...I'd guess he's much better of a human being than a lot of the **** talked about him would lead you to believe.

i feel sorry for him because he thinks that everyone buys into the crap he sometimes says and because he comes off as a child in his interviews for everyone to see. I dont think he's ****** because no one accomplishes a lot of the stuff he has in his career being ****** but i do think his ignorance is shown off a lot. Honestly this might sound ****** but for as much as he has accomplished well to some i actually think he has underachieved in what he could have accomplished with his career as a boxer but more importantly as a role model especially for young african americans who grow up in the ****** and want to be just like floyd thinkin his lifestyle is the way to live life! Being one of the few popular black boxers in boxing today he could have really impacted a lot of young people's lifes in a positive way by sending the right messages but well it looks like he blew that opportunity...

This is NOT about his boxing ability or career. I respect Floyd the boxer, but I pity the man. What surprises me is that some teenagers and lowlifes on here actually admire the man (I should say, boy).

Truth is NO fighter has retired in their prime of their own accord. Whilst Whitaker got trashed for his style when he was p4p he always fought the best and above all he did not retire in his prime rather than clean out his div.
