FRANK WARREN admits Amir Khan's showdown with Marco Antonio Barrera may have to be pushed back a fortnight.
Khan is due to collide with the fight legend at Manchester's MEN on March 14.
But Barrera is currently recovering from a cut forehead after being headbutted by Freudis Rojas in a warm-up fight in Mexico.
And while promoter Don King insists his man will be fit for action, Warren has his doubts.
The SunSport columnist said: "I spoke to King and he told me that hopefully it will be OK.
"At the moment, we just don't know. I am told it was a vertical gash but we will find out more soon.
"I did not want this fight in Mexico to happen but I think there was pressure on him to go ahead with it.
"If the worst comes to the worst, we will have to push it back a couple of weeks.
"Obviously, with 15,000 tickets sold already, we don't want to do that."
