What do ya'll think bout this kat still fighting???

Should Morrison be allowed to fight??

Does this open the door for HIV folks in other sports like MMA???

    Fun topic.

I personally don't see a problem with Morrison fighting. He was cleared right?

What's the deal with him? Does he have HIV or not? I know he came out positive before and then claims it was a false positive or something? If I were a fighter, there's no way I would get in a ring with Morrison unless he proves he is HIV and Hep C negative. Nothing is worth the risk of contracting those diseases.

He was cleared in Wyoming. Being cleared to fight in Wyoming and being cleared to fight in a serious commission like NJ or NY are two different things. He will never be allowed to fight in NJ unless he can prove that he is HIV negative.

In Wyoming, the only test needed to fight is the mirror test. They put a mirror under your nose and if it fogs up, then you can fight. I kid, but barely.

Would you fight him if you were a heavyweight? Say he gets cut and bleeds and some squirts in your eye, would you have a problem with that?

I'm just saying that if it's declared that he doesn't have HIV, then I don't have a problem. I see your point about having to fight him, but that's not my place, I don't box.

Isn't it a rule in the NBA that if you have an open wound thats bleeding you have to get off the court till' it stops? I dunno but it's a given that in boxing there is going to be blood
so it's a rough topic if you ask me.

Yea, a lot of people never stepped into a ring before, and probably were never even in a fight before. That's why they often say things that don't make sense or aren't well thought-out. If he isn't 100% totally cleared for HIV, then he absolutely should not be in the ring with anyone. And I sure as hell wouldn't fight him either.

If he was adequately declared to not have HIV, it would be no problem. But that didn't happen, he has not shown with any certainty that he is HIV negative. He claims that steroid use obscured his test, as well as Bob Arum not wanting him to fight anymore. But he cannot prove with any certainty that he is HIV negative.

The commissions said fine, come here and get tested by our people and prove that you're HIV negative. He wouldn't, instead he wants to have his own doctors and that just doesn't work.
