Wasn't Valero moving up to Lightweight to fight for the WBC interim title?

Sounds like a very smart matchup. Gonna be a real pickem fight.

What I remember is that they have trying to hook this fighter with PAcquiao for years but it was not viable because Valero cannot fight in the U.S.. I think one state (not Nevada) gave him a license to fight, so now it will be possible.

edwin valero at 130 pound division

yes at last the real warrior is here. personally I could sense this very early that valero will wipe out everybody at 130 or even at 135. this guy is obviously talented and a big puncher, just look at his fist and his record..my goodness all KO in 24 fights and if I am not mistaken 21 of them all in first round. ofcourse arum would not try to pair valero with the pacman these days coz it might derail pacman's career and arum knows that valero could succeed pacman in the future. goog luck edwin you and pacman are the best
                among the great fighters.

i like this because now Valero will hopefully if his health allows it will have a lot better chances at fighting good opponents. i think he is overhyped based on his 100 KO % because of the level of competition he has faced but still he does have the awesome power i wont take away anything from him there. my problem with him is that he is slow as dirt and i think against any quick good fighter he will be exposed a bit..
