Arum Back Margarito, Cotto Need a new promoter

cotto just needs to let this play out.if it turns out he is guilty, which i believe, than he should leave top rank for to have the same kinda promotional deal as hatton does with gbp.

Arums been good to cotto even telling everyone that would listen Floyd is runnin from him... And just cuase he defends his other $$ maker (margarito) you think he needs another promoter? LOL Pshhhh

Its just business man. Margarito is Arum's fighter, it has nothing to do with picking Tony over Cotto. His fighter is in trouble, and he's going through the necessary steps to defend his fighter against allegations.

He didn't find it plausible in the least. As proof of his point, he mentioned that he was about to auction off the hand-wraps that Lennox Lewis used in his fights with Mike Tyson and Hasim Rahman. For more than six years, Steward has kept them in a Ziploc bag. If damp gauze ever were inclined to harden over time, one would expect that those wraps would be stiff as boards by now.

"But that material," Steward told me, "is still soft."

...anyway Margos corner is gonna take that bullet so margo can say he didnot knew, the corner gets fired and unfortunetly Margacheato would keep boxing!

Trust me, if it comes down to it Arum will protect Cotto over Margarito at all costs. Especially after the Mosley fight and the controversy. Arum expected Cotto to roll through Margarito the first time, and he probably still has more confidence in Miguel or he wouldn't have been so willing to match them again.
