The guy he fought was complete garbage! I saw his previous fight against then unbeaten Shane Andreesen up in Canada. Shane isnt the biggest puncher but he treated the fat peice of crap like a rag doll.

I still don't know how I feel about the whole HIV situation, but if he is being cleared to fight, let him fight I guess.

He was a talented fighter and if ever there were a soft HW division where he might find a home... its the current HW division.

Wow, this one flew right under the radar! I wasn't aware that Morrison was still fighting in the U.S. and was trying to get a fight in Australia. Where did you watch the fight? Got a video of it?..

The HIV situation notwithstanding, this fight was kind of a strange. Tommy looks like he's just sparring and not going full out, and his opponent is kneeing him and looked like he took a dive...

You're right; I just boxrec'd it and it wasn't on Morrison's official record. Still, this Morrison situation is very bizarre...

I googled your name and realized that you have some sort of promotional affiliation with Morrison. Even without those facts I would have deduced it anyways.

It's hard to tell anything about the fight because it was pretty clearly fixed/rigged. Morrison barely tapped Williams and he fell down like he had died.

Besides, it wasn't even a sanctioned fight, it was some sort of modified kickboxing fight. Morrison can't fight anywhere with a boxing commission because he hasn't been able to provide evidence that he is HIV negative. The only reliable tests on file have him being infected with HIV.

And what was up with Williams announcing after he had allegedly been knocked out that there was a date with the WBC to sanction a title eliminator with Mercer and Morrison? Neither guy would even be sanctioned to fight again.
