Shane Mosley Is A Great Body Puncher

Just watching some of his Lightweight fights again, against Golden Johnson, Jesse James Leija. And when i watch those double left hooks to the body and the right uppercut to the solar plexus, i think im watching Marco Antonio Barrera, Julio Cesar Chavez.

Shane Mosley certainly has that Mexican body attack down to a tee. I forgot just how good of a body puncher he was and still is, but we haven't seen him use it as much lately but he rediscovered it against Antonio Margarito.

Yeah, he went away from it for a while, he was and still is a very, very effective body puncher, he's one of the best at neutralizing an opponents' body attack too.

I actually think he won the Margarito fight in the first round when he caught margarito to the body, Margarito looked SHOCKED like he didnt know what hit him...He had to bring his hands down to cover his body while exposing his face for headshots.

You could his that reaction in the first round, From then on Margarito wasnt throwing like he normally would.

He was a great body puncher but he hasn't done much of it lately since he got his ass kicked by Forrest. He threw some great shots against margarito but even then his body attack wasn't too consistent.

wow that's crazy i thought i was the only one who noticed that ...in the first round margarito nearly doubled over and EVER since then he seemed to have no steam...i think mosley hurt margarito bad in the 1st and marg was too much of a warrior to show it visibly but inside i think he was shocked as you put it and ever since then the increasing body attack just made him way too scared and feeble to go after mosley, THAT'S the reason he had no punch output in that fight and that's the reason he was eventually KTFO.
