I hear Barrera looked horrible before the DQ, can a guy who looks horrible and goes three rounds with a 1-9 fighter beat Amir Khan? I submit that he cannot.

It's not that he looked horrible in taking any hits, he barely took any, but he looked terribly slow. No head movement or anything to fake the guy out. He just landed to the body, but threw barely and one punch at a time until the third.

The dude he was fighting was even worse who actually landed when he threw a couple shots in I think the second, but was mainly pulling a Morrade Hakkar in the first round of Hopkins-Hakkar and not even engaging.

Thanks for the summary, warp. How did you see the fight man?

The first round was terrible. The second round Barrera managed to land maybe 10 shots or so, probably less. Then in the third round he was pounding him, but looked slow doing so.

sorry, I didn't phrase that well. How did you manage to watch the fight? Didn't know it was televised.

I watched it on a stream someone posted on here.

Well I was picking Khan before hand, but I think Khan would have beaten him if he stuck and moved all night. There is no way Barrera could get into range. He was just sooooo slow. He's even slower from the Pacquiao Barrera 2 fight imo.

That is exactly what I had seen. Not in this fight because I wasn't aware of the stream but in his last fight, he looked like a mummy. I'm not the kind of guy who blindly picks fighters based on who I like. I would prefer Barrera to walk away from the sport because he has taken a lot of punches in his fights. He doesn't have a style like James Toney's that is defensive, he gets hit a lot.

Barrera Looked Good For The Three Rounds He Fought.
You Could Tell He Wasnt Looking For a Quick Win.
