Former three-division champion Marco Antonio Barrera (65-6, 43 KOs) made his return to the ring with a win, but it wasn't sweet. He beat late replacement Freudis Rojas (1-8-1, 1KOs) by disqualification in the third round after Rojas hit him with his head, which forced the DQ call by the ref and opened a very bad cut over Barrera's left eye. Man, that sounds very su****ious to me. Here is this late replacement who is 1-9 or something, coming in on very short notice when surprisingly the original opponent can't get a visa. Then he proceeds to get himself DQ'ed by intentionally butting Barrera and severely compromises the Khan fight.
I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but maybe somebody didn't want the Amir Khan fight to happen.Comment
