    Urango breaks Ngoudjo's jaw

    Translation:

A fractured jaw in 3 places

We can never say that the boxer Hermann Ngoudjo lack of courage. After meeting with doctors in the wake of his battle to face Juan Urango, the verdict fell; Ngoudjo suffered a triple fracture of the jaw.

Joined by RDS morning, Yvon Michel said that his protégé has shown great courage and determination after being hit by a solid uppercut to Urango in the middle of the 3rd round.

"Hermann is just out of surgery and he suffered a fractured jaw in three places, in addition to having lost a tooth. When I got into the ring at the end of the bout, the first thing he said, "said Yvon Michel.

Remember that Ngoudjo has lost his fight by unanimous decision of the judges facing the Colombian Juan Urango.

According to this site Herman Ngoudjo's jaw was fractured in 3 places against Juan Urango. He also lost a tooth.

Credit to Ngoudjo for fighting on with those kinds of injuries if it's true.

The big uppercut at the start of this video is supposedly the punch that did most of the damage.

Not to mention most of the big shots happened in the 3rd round, so he had to fight through 9 more rounds in that shape possibly.

Urango has to be the biggest and strongest light welterweight I've ever seen.

It's a shame that he isn't much of a boxer but his fights are always interesting.

He's a tough, stoic kind of a dude. Was impressed by his demeanour since the first time I saw him fight, so a show of heart and courage like that doesn't surprise me.

Was hoping he could pull it off last night. Ah well.

Is it just me, or does Urango look extraordinarily...big...in those pics?
