How good was Urango vs Ngoudjo

Was it a barn burner or what? I crashed out drunk on the sofa before it started!
I read the report, sounds a bit nuts, 5:11 minute round and **** lol!

So rate the fight, worth ordering on dvd?

The fight was OK, not great but not a bad fight to watch, lots of close rounds.

It was quite good. Not a FOTY candidate by any means, but still much better than average. There were plenty of close rounds, and I thought it was a little difficult to score. Urango was clearly stronger and more effective overall, but it was much closer than the scores would lead you to think.

It's was entertaining enough, Urango should have finished it off in the third, I disagree with scilencer it wasn't close and most of the rounds where clearly Urango's, Ngoudjo only won 1 round particularly clearly but Urango was all over Ngoudjo for 4 or 5, plus teh two KD's.

Atlas scored the round with 2 KD's 10-8, who he did that I have no idea, apparently in Atlas's vresion of boxing the second KD doesn't count.

A lot of those rounds were close depending on what you liked, a lot of Urango's shots were landing on gloves or missing entirely whereas Ngoudjo was landing pitty pat punches, Urango did land some huge body shots early though. Whether this fight was close or not depends on what you like as a judge, they both had their moments in every round.

Ngoudjo killed it for me. He tried to stick and move, but he really sucks at that. Once he went down twice, I knew he couldn't win based on the way he had fought up to that point.

It was a very good fight to me.Better than Collazo vs Berto to me.Had everything,KDs,broken jaws, body punching,a 5 minute 10 second round etc.But what the hell was Teddy Atlaswatching?115-113?

It was a good fight. Urango really took it to him all fight. I felt he was the clear winner. Those body punches were telling. Ngoudjo tried to outwork him with pitter patter like I imagined, but I didn't expect Urango to land so many hard punches.

It doesnt always look pretty. He wings a lot of those blows, but he mixes them up well enough. Cotto has him improved from what I've seen. Maybe it's my memory, but I remember him looking pretty uninterested against Hatton.

That 5 minute round was nuts. It clearly effected Ngoudjo too. His legs were gone at the start of the 11th. They should go for a Torres fight. That would be foty type stuff. I dont think Torres has much of a chin though, so it'd be something like a 3 round fire fight.
