I like Mayorga as well. Agreed he isn't the most talented fighter out there, but win or lose, you're sure to be entertained.

Remember when he was fighting Mosley and he always pumped his fist into the air at the end of each round as if he had won it (even if he took a beating)?

That always made me laugh! He did it like 4 or 5 times. Gotta' love his optimism!

Mayorga is the best trash talk in boxing. Pantera comes close, but Mayorga is more sarcastic. It's not only to insult and not only talk **** on how you will ko your opponent. One of my favorites; "Fight who??? Margarito who??? Is he a taxi driver???"

Mayorga is funny as hell, I like the guy.

Jim Gray is not equipped to interview a character like Mayorga, and Mayorga is so hilarious that Vargas can frequently be seen cracking a smile. Definitely wish i understood spanish well for when El Matador opens his mouth.

My mom speaks Spanish. It's her first language. I don't know Spanish, and I showed her the interview. She kept yelling "Oh my God! Oh my God!" haha. She said the interpreter didn't do a good job, but she said it's good that he didn't say that stuff on national T.V. haha.
