in his interview directly after the Marg fight i actually thought he sounded articulate and clear for a boxer

I find guys whom are often slightly blurred, often speak very clearly post fight.

I don't know if it's just because their so pumped up, energised and alert or what. But it's when relaxing interviews happen, you tend to notice they slur worst.

It breaks my heart to hear him speak (I just saw his ESPN interview earlier today). His speaking abilities are CLEARLY deteriorating.

especially if you use ebonics , not like he has to work in a proessional manner.. hes rich .. hes in the hurt business.. hes single.. i mean who cares....ive only seen a few fighter that can really be catorgorized as slur from boxing .. ali.. meldrick taylor...joe fraizer..and toney slightly, after he started fighting heavyieghts.. oh and rid**** bowe.. but he talks normal now so who knows.. alot of time it in the psychi of a boxer to be shy

trust me...i have spent numerous christmas' and thanksgivings with the guy....he is not punch drunk...he is speaking just fine...his live interviews are different than prerecorded....u have to remember they tell him to try to hurry with his answers as opposed to prerecorded where he can take his time...he has always answered like that in live interviews...
