I love the 5 Minute Round

I have to say, you people are a little ****ed in the head thinking that this was a good thing to see in boxing. Could you imagine the outrage if a cup game in European football went an extra 20 minutes of stoppage time when there were two slide tackles the whole entire half! There would be outrage and i am shocked I am not seeing outrage in this situation. to be honest the fight should be ruled a no contest because you can make assumptions all day but the truth is if that was a 3 minute round anything could have happened even if the chances of that happening were astronomical the fact remains it is unnacceptable.

I wish they had a feature in this sport where they had a five minute round inserted in there at random, one of the 12 rounds would be 2 minutes longer and that round would be predetermined.

Would really separate the men from the boys.

Maybe the time keeper was a Danny Williams fan and wanted to give boxing the time back for the round where the promoter rang the bell early to stop Danny battering his fighter.

No idea, I thought it was something shady going on in favor of Ngoudjo because Urango was pretty tired at that point, maybe they were trying to extend the round to give Ngoudjo more time to wear Urango out but it kinda worked against Ngoudjo because he seemed to hit a wall after that round.

It is ridiculous, but when you're watching a fight in which every round seems to be the same over and over, a little variety doesn't hurt. I thought it was rather novel, even though nothing of any consequence occurred.

Since nothing dramatic happened in those two minutes, I think its pretty funny.
