Are you a dietician???
You don't know ****.
Cutting almost 40 pounds in a few weeks can result in undesireable results. Ask anyone who knows.

Comparing Margarito's situation and DLH's is not right though because DLH literally drained himself to make weight, I don't think he ate much of anything between the weigh in and the fight because he only gained 2 pounds whereas Margarito rehydrated to 160 so it wasn't nearly as bad as DLH's situation.

Tony put on about 13 pounds in a day. None of that weight was healthy weight!!! You all are idiots to think that if a fighter gains 10 plus pounds after the weigh-in, then he's in shape. All that means is he drank a whole lot of Pedialyte or Gatorade after the weigh-in. Oscar's situation was unique. Name another situation where a fighter cut weight and only gained 2 pounds. The Oscar situation is not the only situation where a fighter can be weight drained.
Chris Byrd and as mentioned above Hearns weighed in at 145 when boxing was still on same day weigh ins so I doubt he gained that much weight between the weigh in and the fight.

And no, Margarito is about the same size as DLH but DLH's body was not used to losing that 7 pounds anymore, his body was used to making 154.

Your're implying that because Margarito didn't gain as much weight as Oscar did then, he WAS NOT weight drained. I'm saying, just because he gained more than TWO pounds does not mean he was not weight drained. Tony was ****in weight drained, get over it you ****in idiot. When you learn how to cut weight, you might be able to post something worthwhile here. Tony cut more weight than was healthy for him against Shane. He's outgrown the Welter division. At 154, he'll KO Shane, easliy.

And judging from his performances at 154, no he wouldn't knock Mosley out at 154, he loses his advantage in physical strength at 154, which is a big part of his style, if he comes back, he'll come back at 147 for sure.
