I wrote this in another thread like a week ago but how can you not have a Countdown for Margarito-Mosley. What makes it even more crazy is that HBO obviously was in love with Margarito at the time so for them not to have a Countdown means that they think Mosley had totally fell off. It was a great day for Boxing obviously since the house was packed, the stars were out, and ESPN did a good job at covering the fight but I just think that it couldve even been bigger if they wouldve gave it a Countdown. Mosley deserves that with his HOF career and his recent big wins and Margarito deserved it with him being one of the top guys in boxing at the time. Not a 24/7 but just a Countdown, e****ally considering the fact that you know how these guys fight and will make it action packed.
PS- One thing that was strange/funny/sad about that fight was that Margarito obviously packed the house with the Mexicans and thats all you heard but when you just watch the fight and see the people cheering, all you can really see is the Mosley fans because it was like they were rich and had all the close seats while the Mexicans had the seats further away. Did anyone else catch that? Its like all the front 5-10 rows were Mosley fans and then the rest were Margarito fans
