All you people saying he threw the fight are one step from mental ******ation. When Cotto lost you didn't see Cotto fans saying anything. Why is this any different? What because Margarito supposedly had a "granite chin"? Please, it was only granite because no one had cracked it yet. I wonder if it would've ever have been granite if he had been fighting at 154 or 160 the whole time? I'm going to wait to condemn Tony for the hand wraps, but this whole thing about Margarito taking a dive is about as lame as I've seen. Give Shane his credit.

I gave Margarito props for beating Cotto. Miguel came with the wrong game plan and that's a fact.

It's the California State Athletic Commission and the Justice Department that are alleging that Margarito was using illegal hand wraps. If Cotto fans hop on the subject and ride it through with their agenda, that's on them. But the hand wraps situation was not a fabrication of Cotto fans.

I'm not here to take the conjecture of anonymous posters on a forum as gospel. Someone with some credibility, like someone who is an authority on the sport and that fight specifically, I'd be more inclined to listen to.
