I was not trying to have my opinion reinforced, I was just making small talk. I also forgot to mention that she also said that if he was caught cheating here, what makes you think he did not try to cheat in those other fights.

I told the story too to someone when it was discussed on ESPN.. they agree they Richardson was just trying to get in to Margo's head instead of ( in my co worker words ) " warming up and focusing on the fight ".... I told them that the commision had NO PROBLEM w/ the wrap originally , that Richardson has done this in the past and MARGARITO's camp claims they didnt nothng wrong and are confident the Cali Criminal Dept will prove that..

I was making casual conversation with a friend and began telling her about the Margarito hand wrap incident. As I laid it all out, I told her about Kermit Cintron who was a huge puncher and got his azz kicked easy by Tony Margarito and that the only two loses were at the hands of Margarito. I then told her that undefeated Miguel Cotto had also faced Margarito and that he ended up destroying Cotto in the final rounds and then I told her that just before Margaritos fight against Shane Mosley, Tony was caught with some illegal objects under his hand wraps and was forced to re-wrap his hands. The wraps and the objects were confiscated immediately. Those present said it was a brick like substance such as plaster and it's what doctors use to make casts. Tony came to the ring and got totally destroyed by a 37 year old fighter who had no business beating Tony. All she said was it sounds to me like Tony cheated against Cintron and Cotto for sure.

Even someone who does not watch boxing can understand this, why can't the **** heads who do follow the sport see it?

Lets be perfectly honest here, I know you guys are loving the fact that Marg got beat and beat bad. That's cool, and if he cheated he deserves what he gets, Im not defending him but let's get one thing straight.....

A major reason Margarito beat Cintron and Cotto was because he has a chin of iron. Even in the Mosley fight, the avg fighter would have been KO'd a long time earlier. Unless he managed to wrap his chin with plaster of paris, lets not get things out of control......

If he's a cheater, fine, I will be the first to condem him but he took everything Cotto and Cintron gave out and more.

Against Tito it was one thing to say that Tito was using too much tape. Nothing was confiscated against Tito. In the Margarito fight, there were several people who claim it was a plaster like substance, the commission would not have confiscated this had there not been anything there. Do you think Capetillo would have tried to stop the fight if Tony would have had his bricks? I think not. Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich also said he did nothing wrong but he was impeached wasnt he? Tony is full of shiet and that is why they are having this hearing on the 10th and Tony will be suspended and Capetillo will take the fall and will be banned from boxing.
