Consider this:
You don't NOT take a fight you believe you can win - FOR THE BELT! $$$ OR NOT!!! - UNLESS you're ducking. End of discussion.

No, it is Showtimes fault. They approve these fights. There was a better option in Glen Johnson, but SHO wanted this fight. ******.Comment

Taylor and Dibella didn't take what offer? The offer to fight in the UK in April that had nothing to do with the March 28 date Showtime offered Taylor?
Dibella offered Froch the biggest payday of his career to come to the US and fight on Showtime but was rejected.
Yes the circumstances suck for this fight but IMO there just isn't enough interest by American TV (Showtime or HBO) to supply an adequate budget to get both fighters in the ring together. Green will probably take half of what Froch was offered.
Add to it that Taylor is unwilling to travel to the UK, which also sucks balls, and Froch's unjustifiably high opinion of himself as a paper champ, it is no wonder this fight is not happening right now.
Last month, DiBella and Taylor even tried to negotiate with Bute for a fight IN MONTREAL but were told that the Romanian was "unavailable"... and now he's signed on for an optional defense against Zuniga? WTF?
So yes... it is ****** that Taylor/Froch isn't coming off right now. But is it because Taylor is afraid of Froch? GTFO.Comment
