mosley shot margarito, jotto gets no credit if he wins a rematch....

lets be real - margarito is shot to bits mosley brutalized him like a mexican meat grinder....his willingness to take pain will never be the same....if jotto wins a rematch it isnt necessarily caused by legal handwraps

Cotto may still rematch Margarito, it's all up to Arum. I am having doubts considering whether it will happen, due to Shane Knocking Margarito out in a one sided fashion.

If anyone shot Margarito it was Miguel Cotto not Shane Mosley, no one can say Margarito is shot.

this thread is moot. Margarito brutally destroys the china chin Cotto 10 times out 10. Cotto could come to the ring with a sledgehammer and margarito still beats him.

IMO Cotto's shots may have done some damage to Margarito none of us were able to see, and going in against Mosley and taking the damage he did might've just cracked Margarito.

It's nothing out of the ordinary

Cotto may not get credit with a Marge win but he gets personal gratification.

I also think he'd get credit for it regardless because he avenged his only loss.

Avenge his only loss when Margarito's chin has been ruined and is shot? Too bad he couldn't do it when Marg was in his prime. It will never happen, but IF Cotto were to pull off the miracle in a rematch the Ricans will be celebrating as if their unemployment checks just arrived in the mail. Cotto needs to fight a prime fighter. Not stiffs and has beens (i.e. Margarito).
